This website is written by hand in HTML and CSS! Like it's 1999, but with non-terrible browsers and styling options.

Photos and videos are sometimes edited using Pixelmator Pro (the non-subscription one) or Final Cut Pro. These are then shrunk down for the web using Clop.

I regularly browse with and test the website using Safari only — if you use another browser and anything looks like 💩, please let me know. Side note: if the emoji that I use don't render in your browser… sounds like a you problem?

To edit the site, I use VSCodium — I realise there are more interesting, Mac-assed apps out there but it serves its purpose. We use GitHub Codespaces at work, so it's one less set of keyboard shortcuts and extensions to have to learn at home.

Any non-photo/video media, particularly graphics, is likely to have been made in Affinity Designer 2.

Hardware

I host my website on a gaming computer-cum-web server, served from Raspberry Pi 5 using NGINX.

The content is written using my MacBook Pro (16-inch with M4 Max, 2024) which runs macOS 15. I will upgrade beyond 15 when Apple remembers how to do good design.

Media is generally taken on my iPhone 15 Pro Max (sadly stuck on iOS 26), although I am increasingly taking snaps and videos using my Insta360 X5.
